Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Precious Nuptials and Destinations. As a Texas-based travel agency specializing in creating unforgettable travel experiences for couples and their loved ones, we are committed to providing exceptional service. By booking your travel arrangements with us, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. These terms outline the agreement between you, our valued client, and Precious Nuptials and Destinations. Please take the time to carefully read and understand these terms before proceeding with your booking.

Identification Requirements

All travelers must provide valid identification at the time of booking and prior to travel. Acceptable forms of identification include:

  • A valid passport (required for international travel).
  • A government-issued driver’s license or state ID (for domestic travel).
  • Any other identification as required by specific travel destinations or service providers.

Travelers are responsible for ensuring their identification documents are current and valid for the duration of their trip. Precious Nuptials and Destinations is not liable for any issues arising from invalid or expired identification. We urge you to carefully review all confirmations and associated travel documents upon receipt and to promptly notify us of any errors, omissions, or discrepancies. It is your responsibility to ensure that the legal names and other travel-related identification provided in your documents match those on your government-issued IDs (e.g., passports) to avoid any potential issues while traveling.

Traveling to different parts of the world may pose various health and safety hazards, including but not limited to disease, crime, terrorism, and warfare. Since risk tolerance varies from one individual to another, Precious Nuptials and Destinations cannot recommend or advise whether travel to any specific location is safe at any given time. Therefore, we encourage you to seek objective third-party sources of travel information, such as those maintained by the U.S. Department of State (travel.state.gov), the Centers for Disease Control (cdc.gov), or any other relevant government authority in your jurisdiction. Additionally, please check government websites to ensure compliance with all entry requirements and understand local laws governing travel within a given country.

Please note that in most instances, your passport must be valid for six months after your return to the U.S. It is your responsibility to obtain any required visas. Many countries, including the United States, require extended validity of immigration documents, and clients are advised to verify applicable laws associated with anticipated travel. We cannot be held liable for delayed visa or passport processing by Consular offices, and standard cancellation charges will apply. For current visa requirements, U.S. citizens should visit www.travel.state.gov. It is your sole responsibility to obtain and pay for all visas, reciprocity fees, affidavits, immunizations, etc., required for entry into each destination. Some countries may also require entry (reciprocity) fees and/or departure taxes/exit fees, which local government authorities will collect at airports upon entry/departure.

Please note that entry to any country may be refused even if you have completed all the required documentation. Precious Nuptials and Destinations bears no responsibility for advising or obtaining necessary travel documentation for you or for any delays, damages, or losses, including missed portions of your vacation, related to improper documentation or government decisions about entry.

To make a booking with Precious Nuptials and Destinations, you must provide all required details, including the names of travelers, travel dates, and payment information. • Deposit Requirements: A non-refundable deposit, as listed on your quote or invoice, is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
  • Payment Terms: Full payment must be received as noted on your quotation or invoice. Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in the cancellation of your booking without a refund.

Precious Nuptials and Destinations acts as an intermediary between you and third-party suppliers, such as airlines, hotels, car rental companies, and tour operators. While we strive to work with reputable suppliers, we are not responsible for the services provided by these third parties.

  • Limitation of Liability: Precious Nuptials and Destinations is not liable for any injury, loss, damage, delay, or inconvenience caused by third-party suppliers. Any issues or claims must be addressed directly with the supplier.

Cancellation and Refund Policies

  • Cancellation by Client: If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us in writing as soon as possible. Cancellation policy is specific to each booking and outlined on each quotation and travel invoice.

Any cancellation request must be submitted to us in writing at (hola@preciousnuptials.com) and acknowledged at least ten (10) days prior to the onset of penalty dates listed above for proper processing.

  • Refunds: Please note that non-refundable deposits and certain other charges (e.g., airline tickets, hotel bookings) are not eligible for refunds.
  • Cancellation by Supplier: If a supplier cancels your booking, you will be entitled to a full refund or a credit towards a future booking, depending on the supplier’s policy.

Chargeback Policy

Any authorized charge that is disputed and results in a chargeback will incur a non-refundable fee of $150 or 10% of the total charge amount, whichever is greater. This fee is to cover the administrative costs associated with handling the chargeback process.

  • Unauthorized Disputes: If you dispute a charge without a valid reason or without attempting to resolve the issue with Precious Nuptials and Destinations first, this fee will be automatically applied.

Changes to Bookings

If you need to make changes to your booking, please contact us as soon as possible. The following policies apply:

  • Name Changes: One complimentary name change per booking. A fee of $25 applies for each additional name change.
  • Date Changes: Date changes are subject to availability and may incur additional charges. Please note that some suppliers do not allow date changes, and you may need to cancel and rebook, incurring cancellation fees.
  • Other Changes: Any other changes to your booking (e.g., room upgrades, itinerary modifications) may incur fees and are subject to supplier policies.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment in case of unforeseen circumstances. Travel insurance typically covers:

  • Trip cancellation or interruption.
  • Medical emergencies.
  • Lost or delayed baggage.
  • Travel delays.

Precious Nuptials and Destinations is not responsible for any costs incurred due to the lack of travel insurance. If you choose to decline travel insurance, you do so at your own risk. Precious Nuptials and Destinations strongly recommends purchasing a travel protection plan, including “cancel for any reason” coverage, to protect against unforeseen events that may lead to the cancellation or amendment of travel plans. While we strive for excellence in our service, factors beyond our control may impact travel. It is important to discuss your travel insurance coverage needs with a qualified travel insurance company. We are not a certified broker of insurance, and for a complete understanding of the policy or contractual terms, we encourage our clients to communicate directly with the travel insurance company.

Responsibility and Liability

Precious Nuptials and Destinations is responsible for arranging and coordinating your travel services. However, our liability is limited as follows:

  • Acts of God/Force Majeure: We are not liable for any delays, cancellations, or damages caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, epidemics, strikes, terrorism, or government actions.

We will not be liable to provide any refund or compensation if we are unable to perform our contractual obligations due to circumstances of “force majeure.” This term refers to any event or circumstances beyond our control or that of our suppliers, which could not have been foreseen or avoided, such as acts of God, war, insurrection, riots, strikes, civil action, decisions by governments or governing authorities, technical or maintenance problems with transport, changes of schedules or operational decisions of air carriers, terrorist activity or the threat thereof, industrial action, natural or nuclear activity, epidemic, pandemic, illness, physical injury, quarantine, medical or customs or immigration regulation, delay or cancellation, adverse weather conditions, fire, and all similar events beyond our control. We shall not provide any refunds due to fear of travel from actual or threatened terrorism, or for issues related to health, politics, economic factors, environmental hazards, or other similar situations that may hinder travel. Your decision to travel to any destination is made with full knowledge of current travel recommendations and travel restrictions in place for each country. If a governmental advisory is issued after the booking is paid and you decide to cancel, our standard cancellation policy will apply.

  • Client Conduct: Travelers are expected to conduct themselves appropriately and follow the rules and regulations of the suppliers and destinations. Precious Nuptials and Destinations is not liable for any damages or issues arising from improper conduct by travelers.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes arising from your booking with Precious Nuptials and Destinations will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Texas.

Amendments

Precious Nuptials and Destinations reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. The latest version will be available on our website.
