We have 7 attending our wedding. My sister and daughter will be standing up for me. Bryan will have his best person standing up for him. (Laura is his best man)

Semi-Religious

 

What is your comfort level when it comes to mentioning God in a few parts of the ceremony and having a simple, non-denominational and brief blessing for your relationship and future together?

We are both comfortable with God being metnioned. Blessing is also fine with us.

 

Are you writing your own vows?

How would you like to be presented for the first time?

We would like to be presented for the first time as Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Richter (sounds like ricter)

To help your Officiant get to know you better: How did you meet?

I had not dated for 14 years after my husband passed away. So my daughter talked me to trying on line. I went on a couple of dates and was done after that. Talked to my Mom she called my daughter and she told me to try one more time. Mean while Bry was starting the on line dating also and was known as the 1 date wonder and was ready to give it up but his best girl told him to try one more time. So we met on line and text for 2 weeks and then went on our first date to Buffalo Wild Wings and watched an OU game. Bry came up with our new tradition of kissing everytime OU scores.

 

To help your Officiant get to know you better:  Why did you decide to elope in Galveston?

Our first vacation together was Galveston and we absolutely fell in love with the beach. Some of our most memorable photos are of us on the beach. We were up every morning to walk the beach at sunrise.

 

To help your Officiant get to know you better: What’s most important to you about your elopement?

Our most important part of the ceremony will be the 2 of us becoming 1 and starting the rest of our lives together. Sharing our special day with family members that were able to attend.

 

 

To help get a feel and formality for your day:  Tell us what you and your groom will be wearing.

I will be wearing either a wedding dress or a dress that I fell in love with that will be perfect for a beach wedding. Bry will be wearing jeans and a button down shirt.

 

Do you have any special request or details that we should know?

Our saying is I Love You to the Moon and back. If this could be worked into the ceremony some how would be great

 

Precious Note: Can you help Regina bluetooth to your speaker and explain that the system will cut off if not in use after a while. I suggested that she keeps the music playing, but lower the volume from her phone and adjust as necessary to make sure it remains powered up.
