It’s almost wedding time and we’d love to share details to ensure you get the best Galveston wedding experience. We’re so excited to be a part of your wedding day!
To assist with preparing for your wedding day, packing for travel and planning for your activities while in Galveston, here is a daily and hourly weather outlook. Currently, there’s a 20% chance of thunderstorms. However, there is only a 10% chance during your wedding hour.
Sunday, September 8, 2013 | 11:00PM :: Beach Wedding Ceremony – 24th Street Seawall Beach Access
Your wedding ceremony will take place at a beach location in the 24th street beach section of Seawall Blvd. There is a “no swimming” section of the beach here and usually pose a great opportunity for wedding space.
This section of the beach is near Pleasure Pier.
- If everyone will be arriving together, please arrive on location ten (10) minutes prior to your wedding’s start time.
- Should you desire to arrive separately, guests and our groom should arrive ten (10) minutes prior to start time with our bride arriving five minutes prior to our start time.
- Please account for commute and parking time to ensure that there isn’t a delay or time loss of your hired photography hour.
- Seawall parking is $1 per hour, per vehicle, payable by smart phone application or phone. You may save time by visiting http://www.paybyphone.com/. Here you will get an overview and instructions on using the mobile phone application, should you choose to do so.
- If necessary, we will touch base with you via the telephone number we have on file. Please advise us of any alternate contact number.
- DON’T FORGET YOUR MARRIAGE LICENSE. Unfortunately, you cannot have a legal ceremony without it.
- After the ceremony, John (your photographer) will continue to direct your flow of post ceremony pictures.
On your special day, you will be able to reach us via our after hours extension. Please note that this extension will only be valid on your wedding day.
